““Like a haunted memory of a song, or maybe more like a field recording of ghosts striking up an impromptu orchestra beneath the full moon, this is very quality dreamfolk stuff... I'd append the "bedroom" moniker except this sounds so much like it was recorded in a park... the a-side is barely there (in a good way), faint guitar strums and distant toms are all that support the lilting, crystalline vocal, while on side-b a banjo leads a gentle hum of synth, horns, and cymbals underneath a voice like smoke. Very nice!” |
